Maintain a minimum cumulative UH prerequisite
GPA of 3.3 and UH prerequisite math/science GPA of 3.2. GPA will
be reviewed yearly at the end of the spring semester. Any grade of a D or
an F will automatically make a student ineligible to continue in this program.
Continue completing UH prerequisite courses
Take the Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT)
during the October of the year prior to entrance into pharmacy
school. Score a minimum of 60% in each of the 5 areas of the PCAT.For more information about taking the PCAT, visit http://www.pcatweb.info/.
Meet with the UH/LU Pharmacy Cooperative Faculty
Director at Lamar University at least twice per semester during
the academic year.
Provide updated transcripts of all undergraduate
courses and grades each semester to the University of Houston College of
Pharmacy via a signed release form submitted to the UH/LU Pharmacy Cooperative
Faculty Director at Lamar University.
Remain in good standing at Lamar University.
This includes complying with LU's student code of conduct (see page 67 of
the Student Handbook).
