Change of Major Process

To change your major to the University of Houston College of Pharmacy Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (B.S.PS) program you must:

1. Be admitted to the University of Houston
   - If you are not a current UH student, you must apply online at applytexas.org and select pre-pharmacy as your major
   - When you send your transcripts to UH, please send them electronically
   
   
2. Have completed all required General Education Core Curriculum courses and the College Required prerequisite courses with a grade of C- or higher
   
   
3. Have a GPA of 2.70 or higher for all prerequisite courses
   
   
4. Express an interest in changing your major to B.S.PS by:
   - Attending a B.S.PS advising session, AND
   - Submitting a completed general petition change of major form to the College of Pharmacy B.S.PS advisors
